For the past several years, I’ve created images for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and corporations to use to market their services on the web and social media. Most of the clients with whom I’ve collaborated now have beautiful websites and a solid brand. What I have discovered, however, as a business owner myself trying to navigate my own digital presence and social media channels is that we need new content every day. I’ve shifted my perspective from let’s do one big, beautiful photo session per year to let’s create raw, real content every month.

My online following is completely organic, and it’s grown from showing up consistently. I have a love-hate relationship with social media. As you probably know, I don’t have a business degree, all of the marketing knowledge I have is via trial and error as an entrepreneur over the past ten years.

I am a photographer who loves a glossy magazine worthy portrait. And, I am a human who knows my followers value seeing the behind the scenes and the mess and the vulnerability that comes with being a working mom and wife and creative woman. I want to help clients create content that cultivates a similar connection with their followers. So, why not offer both?! Both the polished I just went to hair and makeup and look like I stepped out of a magazine portraits and the tried and true here I am to serve you behind the scenes story.

This is how content(ed) was born.

con·tent·ed

/kənˈten(t)əd/

adjective

  1. happy and at ease.
    "I felt warm and contented"

willing to accept something; satisfied.
"I was never contented with half measures"

Contented is a play on words. It’s part content that I’m creating with you and for you. It’s part education around how to utilize that content. And, at its core, I’m hoping it leaves you contented because you won’t have to agonize over what to post on social media.

I will unleash this offering to the public at some point, but I’m offering this service to previous clients first because I already have a sense of you and your brand. And, I trust you’ll provide me with honest feedback about what you need and how I can help as well as ways I can improve the service.

Here’s what it entails:

  • monthly or bi-monthly photo sessions delivering at least 12 distinct posts per session
