The Appointed Mindfulness Series blends brief mindfulness practices with somatic awareness techniques to cultivate presence, compassion, and resilience. The series includes 12 sessions which occur on Thursdays from September 3 until November 19th from 10 am until 11 am CST. Participants can come in-person, or they will be provided with a Zoom link to attend virtually. While it's encouraged for you to attend consistently over the course of 12 weeks for optimal benefits, you may also drop-in when your schedule permits. Strategies will be provided for "bad meditators" and people who’ve struggled with mindfulness. If your mind is a wild place, you're in the right headspace and will be in good company for this series. Over the course of the series, participants will explore practices for staying present, meeting themselves with greater kindness, and remaining grounded in a chaotic world. By the end of the series, participants will have a personalized toolkit for experiencing a mindfulness practice that works in real life—no matter how fast-paced it is.
